Labor Billing Policy

These are the minimum guidelines for billing hourly general labor. Evident will follow the billing policies of the local labor provider for events based on their location and local labor and jurisdictional laws.

TECHNICAL DAY RATE POSITIONS

Day Rates (base rate)- From 1 up to 10 worked hours per standard work day.

Overtime (1.5 rate)- Hours 10 – 12 in workday will be billed at 1.5 times the standard day rate Should work be required between 12:00am and 6:00am on any work day, overtime will be immediately charged for that time frame.

Double-time (2x)- After the 12th (twelfth) hour in workday double time will be incurred for the remainder of the time worked.

Short Turnaround (2x rate)- When less than 8 hours down between work calls. Hours 1 - 10 of the next workday rate will be charged.

Short Turnaround Over-Time (3x)- After 10th hour on a short turnaround work day, 3 times the standard day rate for all additional time worked.

Travel Days- Billed at full day rate. If travel and work are the same day it will be billed as continuous time.

Meal Breaks- Walkaway breaks 1 hours or greater will not be billed. Anytime under 1 hour, even if meal is provided, will be considered on the clock.

Meal Penalty (1.5 rate)- When meal breaks are not provided between the 4-5 hour point after the start of the work day. Meal penalty rate will be charged until completion of the meal break which will be considered on the clock if time exceeds the 4-5 hour window between meal breaks.

Dark Day- Full base day rate (10 hours).

HOLIDAY HOURLY GENERAL LABOR

These are the minimum guidelines for billing holiday hourly general labor. Evident will follow the billing policies of the local labor provider for events based on their location and local labor and jurisdictional laws. Holiday’s include, but are not limited to Sundays, and major holidays (New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)

HOLIDAY DAY RATES

Holiday Day Rate (Double-time (2x))- Holiday day rates will be billed starting at double time for all work from 1 up to 10 hours worked per holiday day.

Holiday Overtime (2.5x Holiday Day Rate)- Hours 10 – 12 on holiday workday will be billed at 2.5 times the holiday day rate.

Holiday Double Time (3x Holiday Day Rate)- After the 12th hour in holiday workday, three times the holiday day rate (double time) will be incurred for the remainder of the time worked.

Holiday Short Turnaround Over-Time (3x)- Should short turn around occur after working on a holiday, the short turn around rates will be billed based on the holiday day rates until there is a full 8 hours off between work time-frames.

OTHER DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND POSITIONS

Should any other position outside of the agreed to position(s) proposed, estimated, or intended to be fulfilled occur, Evident reserves the right to refuse these positions and will not be held responsible for any and all associated results. Should additional positions be acquired and made associated with responsibility for and under Evident personnel, each additional position will be paid out at a minimum of the same rate per original agreement and position. Positions which this would be considered would include, but are not limited to tape/record operator, camera shader, consultant, project manager, or technical director.

TRAVEL LOGISTICS

PER DIEM

Per Diem is billed based on the US GSA rate which is calculated differently for each state and city. GSA M&I (meals and incidentals) rate for the city in which the project will be billed will be used as the rate estimated/billed/invoiced for the Client’s project.

TRAVEL COSTS

All logistical costs, including baggage fees, taxi, ride-share, and other transportation costs will be billed to the client.

UNION LABOR

When Evident is required to utilize union labor, the billing policies will be in accordance with the local union rules. We will utilize an outside pay-roller in these projects. Rates will be billed at Evident’s actual cost plus a 20% management fee.
